Various materials that endeavor to be both waterproof and breathable have been produced. Providing both of these functions simultaneously in a garment has been problematic until now. DiAPLEX is an epoch-making material that provides not only a non-porous membrane that is at the same time permeable to water vapor, it also has an innovative temperature sensitivity characteristic.
DiAPLEX demonstrates excellent waterproofness and superior breathability. Test results indicate 20,000 - 40,000 mmH2O water pressure resistance and 8,000 - 12.000 g/m2/24h moisture permeability.
These properties provide garments made with DiAPLEX with high performance, making them suitable for wear in the widest possible conditions of use.
These ranges of use include:
1. A Comfort Zone for everyday wear - breathability
2. A Power Zone for use in inclement weather - waterproofness
3. A Performance Zone when high performance is needed - simultaneous
waterproofness and breathability
